This home was created to flow seamlessly from the interior to exterior both through the commanding views and through the covered gallery doorways to the exterior courtyard. The u-shaped floor plan creates a Cloister that surrounds the courtyard and by capitalizing on the layout, the house allows amazing views to the surrounding neighborhood and uncompromised privacy within its walls.  The Cloister is a heated covered hallway which connects the interior entertainment spaces, the primary bedroom and the guest bedrooms from the protected exterior space.

By covenant, the home could only be one story, providing living in a modern, clean, and energy efficient package able to be enjoyed in all our New England seasons.  By taking advantage of the 19’ ceilings, the guestrooms are able to be stacked, pushing half a flight into the basement and half a flight above the main level.  As such, these stacked rooms save on lot coverage, meet the one-story covenant and provide a guest suite and bath on each level.
