Our goal was to create an addition which provided the program desperately needed within the fast growing family while not overpowering the main body of the home. When you approach the new addition, you first step onto a new farmer’s porch which seamlessly ties the existing structure into the new addition. A new family room with a centered gas fireplace and ample glass to each side directing your views towards the rural setting, and connects with the existing space. Walking up the existing stairs and taking a right, you step into a spacious primary bedroom with another symmetrically staged gas fireplace and glass views to the left and right out to the backyard.

From there, you can walk through the primary bathroom connector which includes a double vanity with a built in linen tower, a secluded private water closet, and a large glass walk in shower with a freestanding tub centered beneath two high glass windows. Passing through the bathroom you enter a large shared walk in closet with well-placed clothes racks, shoe storage and built in make-up station.

Finally, a new constructed barn for indoor-outdoor entertainment provides a sprawling layout across the rolling hills landscape.
